So I have a 2000 TL with 230k miles. Have taken very good care over the years. Been purring like a kitten, running well. Few months ago, had trouble starting it, and when it did start up, it was running rough, engine shaking. After revving it up a bit, I got it to clear up, and run well. Have had a few of those, not many. So the other day, after driving it, went out and it barely started, engine shaking, could barely get it to 30mph on the road. I cleaned out the EGR ports, replaced plugs and also replaced coil packs. I did this because about 100k miles ago, similar thing happened and that was cause. Anyway, did all of this and still can barely get it to start, run. Sounds bad when it does fire up. I can't get any codes because I cleared them after doing EGR and coils. Any help would be appreciated!!

 

Sounds like the hot start issue that seems to be common on here. But I thought it was more due to winter blend fuel.
IIRC, fuel pressure regulator is one of the resolutions for it.
