Simply stating the facts of your old posts since anyone having 250k transmission warranty is unheard of.

Okay, math as I was taught it says this:

Life of original transmission = 105,000

Life of second transmission = 50,000

Life of third transmission = 37,000 and counting

That third transmission was probably before the revised parts of 2005, and therefore when this third transmission dies you will probably be paying out of pocket.

No we are just hoping that you arent missunderstanding the 7 year 100k warranty Extension that isnt applied to all trannies regaurdless of miles. If another does fail i hope for your sake they cover it/ honor (what ever it is you have written) since that isnt acura and they wouldnt say something like that

Yeah, so? I don't care about whether or not it uses oil, honestly.

This oil consumption business is completely ridiculous...LOOK there is no problem with the engine burning a reasonable amount of oil. Some engines are designed to burn some oil to lubricate parts of the engine...others aren't but that's really not the point here.

As long as the engine isn't smoking or burning a ridiculous amount of oil, it is OK. Oil consumption is simply an inconvenience...

Does the synthetic fluid/tranny cooler really make that big of a difference? What are my chances of still being honored for a replacement if it were to go within the next 10k or so?
Nah don't worry about the cooler...if you're going to do something, just switch to a synthetic ATF.

My tranny is starting to slip now that I just rolled over 190,000 miles, but I don't think I have any chance of getting it covered under warranty, as I think my warranty expired about 38 years ago

I would say that if you don't care if an engine is burning oil, or that it is not at all impressive to you that it still is tight at 200Kmiles, then you should not be a moderator. No appreciation for longevity sir?

Since when is being concerned if an engine burns oil a qualification for a moderator. Jeez, what a twit.
