No, cause the air coming out was much colder than 68 deg. It was outside air cold (which was like 25)

No, adjusting the fan speed changes it back to normal. (this has been happening a few times a winter since like 2005, this time i actually took the time to take a pic)

No, when it does this the recirc button lights up (it actually switches over) and the fan speed goes to high no matter where the dial is set to until you manually adjust the fan speed. Then it goes back to normal.

How low does that temp setting go? On Navi cars I think it only lets you goes down to 60.

It's shorting out. My WDP 00 did this and the climate control was replaced under warranty. My 01 LGM did it once this winter (cringe); no warranty and that's expensive. Between that, fading B pillars and a rough shifting tranny, I'm starting to regret buying another TL even though this was a low mileage museum piece of a car. What sucks is that I'm about to pay this one off and get out from a car payment. Now it's going to start tearing up.

You were probably excited because you were "under the influence" and you were getting excited about everything. (Hence the pic from the passenger side).

I suspect a short circuit occured during or as a result of the 6 speed install
or the twin turbo or sc or electric cryofusion motors you may have now~

you might finally try the seat heaters!
