2 questions...springs n resonator
i have 2 questions...some u know im getting H&R Sports springs...the guy at the car shop says that i need to get a camber kit...so my question is how many people on here have the sports springs WITHOUT a camber kit n have no problems?...my 2nd question is that i read somewhere on here that theres a resonator with the stock mufflers...is it possible to take them out?...thx...

yes you can take the resonator out, just cut it out and weld in a pipe, although you might get a slight change in tone. i would rec. that you just get a magnaflow 4 inch round resonator and replace your stock one with that.

regarding the camber kit: No, you dont HAVE to get a camber kit. but it is definately recommended if you are going to drop more than 1.5-1.75" Many people on this forum who are lowered that much or less don't have camber kits (they are still running on stock shocks, too).

NO you dont have to have a chamber kit. I was having the same question when i dropped my car. But my machanic told me that dropping the car makes the handling a little bit better, on the oppostie, chamber kit will kill the handling a little bit. So if you drop your car and get chamber kit = get nothing on handling.
How much is the maganflow resonator? I would like to get one. Weill that help on gaining any HP?

IMO no need for camber kit. All I did was go to tire guy I trust. He said alignment was all I needed plus because of the sport drop, there was no problem with getting it aligned back to stock. Reason I bought H&R Sport is because I never would have to buy a camber kit.

the main purpose of a resonator is just to provide a smoother exhaust tone, and often used in combination when putting on an aftermarket muffler to eliminate the raspy sound that accompanies many of the mufflers. i like the 4" round magnaflow magnapacks because they are very small yet will not restrict the exhaust as much as the stock resonator. i doubt there will be substantial power gains from just replacing one resonator with another, but i guess every little bit helps. replacing with the magnaflow will probably change the tone a tiny bit. and they are quite inexpensive, my shop sells them for 80 bucks and im sure you can find them lower since cost on the resonator is around 32 bucks.

It always starts with negative camber, but you have to drive around to cause more as the springs settle in... After about 2 weeks to 1 month, then get it alligned. Getting it aligned now will only make you go back again after the springs finally settle. Yeah after that allignment, you won't need a camber kit.
