I have a Legend. Wanted to know what V6 the 1st TLs used. Are they VTEC?? How is mounted, sideways or longways like the Legend??

I don't believe the 1st gen had VTEC but don't quote me on it. I owned a 94 Legend and the 1st gen TL had the same power specs...200HP and like 185 torque or something like that so I assume it's the same engine as the Legend.

1st gen tls have a longitudinally mounted inline 5 cylinder engine (2.5 TL) It's the same engine as the Vigor

The 3.2 1st gen tl has the same V6 engine as the Legend from what I've seen. No Vtec anywhere.

I don't think that the 1st gen TL utilized VTEC technology in the 3.2. almost 100% sure about that.

The G1 TL's utilized the Vigor 2.5 and the Legend 3.2 no VTEC there, just a LEGENDary engine
