modded integ - manual tranny (CAI, header, exhaust, hondata ecu) vs stock 02 TL-P AT

friend claims he'd be at par with my TL...but i derno, it just doesnt sound right.

if he is right, bravo; if not, oh well.

just curious is all.

 

his car is lighter....what does he have on it? my old gsr use to pull 13s at the track. but then again...it was swapped out with an ls/vtec headers/exhaust/intake

 

its a 1st gen GS...not GSR.

claims if he put intake, exhaust, header, hondata ecu he be able to keep up.

he also claims that he beat a v6 camry...but his car is BONE stock.

i wanted to see if he was right, but i guess he's not.

either way it doesnt really matter, he doesnt have any mods.

 

I own both a first gen integra ls and a 99 tl, There is no way that way that the modded 1st gen integra would compete with the tl. Maybe the integra will jump off the line faster but in 2 seconds it's over tl all the way. I've had CL's eat my integra alive, i never had a chance.

 

A RS is actually faster than both the LS and the GS. They all have the same output engines. The RS is the bare bone model and is therefore the lightest without all the power gimmicks.

 

but regardless....the TL will beat it. end of story.
