1999 TL Transmission in Sacramento
1999 TL with a transmission that's starting to slip at 110,000 miles. Can anyone recommend a shop in or around Sacramento that does good work and is trustworthy?
Also, since it's only just starting to slip, is there anything short of a rebuild that a shop could do to remedy the situation? I've already read 'the' transmission thread a few months ago, but i don't feel like wading through all those posts again.

Try Anderson's Transmission downtown. Their prices are on the higher side, but my friend's father owns a shop across from Wishing Well, and highly recommends Anderson's for any transmission work.
Still, I'd head over to an Acura dealership for a diagnosis to see if Acura is willing to cover at least some of the repair. It's worth a try.

The last '99 TL we did was $2200. That was two weeks ago.
