1999 TL transmission & 97-01 Prelude AT the same?

1999 TL transmission & 97-01 Prelude AT the same?
Is the 1999 TL's tranny the exact same as the AT on the 97-01 Prelude? They are both 4 speed auto trans with sportshift. And are they interchangable? Thanks!

They aren't interchangable without remapping ure ECU and other costly modifications, if ure looking to replace ure tranny just find a used one..

One is designed to bolt up to a 4 cyl one is designed to bolt up to a 6 cyl. Different internals and gearing to handle the difference in power, and most likely the bell housing.
