Question for a 1996 TL...

can anyone tell me what type of bulb that the fog lights are (h4, 9004, etc)? i was wondering if i can replace them with hyperwhites or something similar

You are gonna have to remove the yellow cover inside the fog light first. The bulb type is H3C.

have you done it? is it easy to remove the yellow lens?

Its not that hard, you are gonna need a short philips screwdriver. Just unplug the bulb and remove the rubber seal, take out the bulb, then you have the remove the circular piece that holds the bulb. There is one screw on the bottom and one on the top on the opposite side. Take off the bottom one, but just loosen the top one enough to slide the piece out because it is hard to get the screw back in the hole. Then the whole piece comes out and you can twist off the yellow cover. When you put the circular piece back in, just slide the top part under the screw you loosened earlier and tighten it, then put in the bottom screw.
