I have access to a set of M5 rims 18" 5 lug bolt pattern but the bolts are millimeters too big. The BMW lug holes are slightly too large (far apart).
Is there any thing I could do to allow the rims to fit? would it be a total rotor and hub swap? I know that it would be to costly to do that ( hub and rotor swap) I was just curious if there was a solution.
I was also unaware that the 5 bolt patterns would be different from make to make.

bmws are 5x120mm and the tl is 5x114.3mm. most times, people can get away with mbz wheels which are 5x112mm by redrilling the holes a little bigger. but yeah, you have to convert your hubs/axles/rotors/whatever.
the other problem might be the wheel's centerbore. since those are bmw specific, it will be matched to the rotor hub diameter. this might not be true for the tl so it might have to be made bigger.
