15,000 mile service for $400???
Hi,
My car is nearing the 15000 mile mark and the dealer's telling it's time for 15000 mile service. This service includes tranny flush, brake inspection, oil change, and some other stuff. I'd really like some feedback. Is this service worth $400? Do I really need this service? Did any of you guys get this service done?
Thanks,
Moo.

Are u sure for 400, mine cost a 100. And that was a lot to me.
You could go just to a good service place and get it cheaper and better.
I dont think that it is a must, but go to the dealer and they should give you like a page checklist on what they are going to do on the 15,000 mile service.
Most of the writing, is just checking the fluids and other little things.

400.....holy crap! If thats for the 15k...imagine what the 30k will be.
I paid 200 for my 15k...and I plan on spending no more than 500 for my 30k

Thanks everyone for your feedback. So I assume not too many ppl had their 15K service done at their dealer. I'm gonna go there and find out exactly what's gonna be done. I think all my car really needs is an oil change.
Edgalang, $150 for 15000 service? That''s awesome...that's how much I thought it would cost.

30,000 mile service is around 330, but there is only about a hundred dollars worth of work only to do, all the rest is bull****.
Just take to a good shop, and save time and money

I take my TL-S to a good Honda dealership where I also service my Accord. They have all the right honda car fluids and are pretty familiar with the way our cars are made. Unless you need parts, I would recommend staying away from overpriced Acura service departments.
