Me too. Its cause of this:

"The FilePlace will be down for a week!

We are moving servers. Check back in a week for the new site. As for those who are using this for Sig Hosting on MW, just PM me and I'll put up your sig in a different location and provide you with a new link.

A lot has changed since you were here I think. No more attachments allowed on this site. You can use the IMG tags to link to an image on another site. Just no more hosting on this site.

Sup fellas, damn this is an old thread. Well I had my 10K installed in may of 2004 and 9 months later it is still working like new. I haven't taken any new pics but here are a few when I had it installed:

Daytime:

Here is a 6000K to compare:

As far as light output, it is a little less than 6000K and a little more less than the oem HIDs. But I can definitely see at night with no problems.

Like people said before, the pics don't do the 10K HIDs justice. You have to really see it in person to appreciate the color and light output.

And to all that thinks it looks like those cheap ricer lights, it is no where near it. Stop hating til you actually see it in person.

I'll post new pics when I hook my car back up for the spring/summer.

Yes you can stick the 6000K in the oem ballast. I am running my 10K on the oem ballast. Why, because all HIDs are only 35 watts (if I'm not mistaken).

When they switch to what? Maybe you are mistaking them. People buy the ballast to put it in their fog lights to match with their headlights.

The front bumper itself, fog lights, fog lens, s/h, painting, and mounting came close to ~$1500.

thats kinda what I was afraid of...It looks 10000% better than the original though - that is my main gripe with my car, the front bumper is boring and it looks like the previous owner drove behind a gravel truck for 100's of miles cause there are shitloads of little chips so it looks like little specs of white paint!

kinda random question - how much would it be to get the front bumper repainted? and would it match the original 6 year old paint very well? thanks

If I remember correctly, the painting cost ~$400 (depends on what shop you take it to). My car was 4-5 years old and the paint job was perfect. Just give them the paint code on the side of the car's door.
