Unhappy

I don't own a TL but even I KNOW that this is discussed weekly so take a second to look at PREVIOUS threads.

Did so, most are SOTP and Dyno, no ETs that I could find. I didn't know this was just a FAQ, thought it was a forum! Thanks for your helpful post as always :p

Now your Help'n. Thanks lex. You sure spend a lot of time here for not having a TL??

Anyhow, he has a lot of other mods, and no times before he added headers? Thats sweet that he is about to hit 13 seconds though!

Looking at what headers do alone for your ET?? No one has tried?

Two tenths? Are you kidding? You should probably gain closer to half a second with headers. When you get them, you'll love them!

AC!

What's up buddy! The only thing I'll add to your insightful post is that I've read over and over than an intake overhaul is most necessary in order to fully optimize performance gains from the exhaust headers -- i.e. install a cold air intake -- and you figure it's ONLY another $200.00 on top of the headers cost + install .. and you can have some fun and install the intake yourself.

you will love the headers w/ the cai. i don't know about hte exhaust except for the sound, but with the headers, you really feel a kick when vtec switches over up to 6k rpm.

No dyno, or 1/4 times with headers alone, sorry.

But I will tell you the car pulls hard from 5500-7000 rpm. I mean HARD. Love them.

Might get a drop in filter, don't want the added noise of the CAI.

i was worried about the same thing, but unless you're WOT, you won't notice them except for the "whoosh" when you turn off the car, but even that's unnoticable most of the time unless you're trying to listen to it.

IMO, the AEM CAI noise is PRICELESS.
