I didnt know about the compression but the CAI is correct and also a redesigned exhaust manafold (which is where i think most of the 10hp came from)any one who has put headers on knows there's alot of hps tide up in there.

im asking cuz im looking at TL-S cams right now.. they are like 125$ on www.acuraautomotiveparts.com (i use this site as a reference..)

i looked at the 04TL cams and they are 88$ ! So if the 04TL engine is just an improved (air intake/manifold) version of the J32A2 the cams should be the same right?

why are the '04 cams cheaper then?? 40$ cheaper is a lot!

dont know why they are cheaper, but the only other difference was the pre-cat, like they used on the D-Series Civics... The cat is bolted right to the exhaust manifold. otherwise, thats it.

i would highly reccommend the VAFC as well, otherwise the ECU will not take to the different cams oh-so-optimaly

is that right? no more huge hp gains w/ a simple bolt-on(headers)?or can the exhaust manafold still be replaced w/o effecting the "pre-cat"
