Take it from someone who has an a-spec and has raced a TSX. BTW the one I raced was 6 speed. From what I could hear, he revved the car up off the line, and therefore took me by about 2 car lengths off the start. Once we hit 60 km/h, it was no contest for the a-spec. I beat him to 120 km/h by about 2-3 car lengths. Had I kept going (we were in the city) it probably would have been even more of a kill.

Haha, just cuz its a 4 cyl, don't assume that it won't smoke ya 
A stock TSX though ... no problem! Once the supercharger comes out for the TSX though, watch out! ~240whp/200lb-ft in the 6-speed would beat the heavier stock TL-S for sure.

Why is this thread about the A-spec? That exact same principals could be applied to the TL-S.. The A-spec has no engine improvements over the TL-S, just supension and astectics.

Hey, you got a flying TL too. In fact, 4 days after you guys removed my intake resonator. I raced my friends TL-S A-Spec off the line. I beat him by 1 car length! He was really impressed by the new noise from my car. I scared the living daylights out of some BMW owners in the North York area too...

yo, madcat, how are the HIDs working out for ya?
a stick TSX with 50 sprays of Nos, some more heavy mods, and I think it can take stock TL...but stock to stock, you are joking right?

You guys were right about the Tl 3rd gear. When the tranny hit 3rd, I went flying! Wit Team Inspire help, I will be getting the mid-muffler removed and get a CAI too. Watch our for the MADCAT TL.
