lol.. what's up with the different trim color .. and the rebadged type s and 3.2tl emblem. i personally wouldn't buy a car that someone has tinkered around with interior/exterior wise.

Well the only thing I can spot is that the rear end looks a little fishy, The ACURA letters are sitting lower than they are supposed to be, and the obvious Type-S emblem is on the wrong side.
Another thing I would start checking on the rear end is open up the trunk see if the VIN stickers are still intact/match. Also check the Taillights see if they are stamped HONDA, And NOT DEPO or TYC. If so theres a pretty good chance the car was rear ended and aftermarket lights were put in.
I say for a car in this condition somewhere in between 6 and 6.5k is a reasonable offer.
Also on the front end both fog lights are cracked and theres a headlight/bumper gap on the front passenger side.

another thing..aside from making sure the VINs all match on the car, you should type it in online to get a carfax or something of the sort, and check the gear shifter (if its stock) and see if it has the red S emblem on it, too...it may not even be a type S, someone could have just put the badge on, and not even have known where it went.
whether or not its a type-s or not probably is the least of your questions but it would be a little fishy if it was just badged that way and wasn't really one. personally i think that price is a little low, if its not a salvage car, or hasn't been in a bad accident or whatnot. something seems off...
good luck in whatever you decide to do though

Wheels.
White face gauges.
Perforated leather seats.
Perforated door panel inserts.
Perforated leather steering wheel.
It was most likely in a rear-end collision. The emblems are a dead giveaway. The rear bumper paint matches the body paint too well. It was always a shade or two off with original paint.
a lot of people back the TL into a low sitting parking lot pole--$1000 damage, bumper cover and foam, new rear paint, emblems in the wrong location,, and its fixed
People will pay cash and not use insurance to keep it off carfax
have a mechanic look over any car you like
call acura with the vin to learn its history of warranty replacements- like trans, and if all recalls are done--there is a new one recently
acura 1 800 382 2238 x5 gets a human- register as new owner if so, or tell them looking to buy
some 02/03 get a free timing belt job under recall- so you want to ask!!

some of the younger crowd have added type S emblems to type P cars--its all about impressing strangers!
or a body shop doesnt know the differance and says `send me the rear emblems`- the dealer has a type S set gathering dust,,,guess what got installed
