you wont be able to find a standard halogen bulb for your fogs that will match the headlights unless you go with the LED version or convert your fogs to HID.

Convert your fogs to h.i.d.'s!!!! my H.I.D. kit was only like 60 or 70 bucks, use the search function on this forum and read all about them before you decide to not get them... by the way i don't know much about cars or anything about wiring stuff up but the h.i.d. kits are "plug and play" literally. it took me like 15 minutes to install them

If you have the money though, I agree with the others and an HID kit for your fogs is the way to go, if you have the time, money and skills to DIY.

Hoen makes a XenonMatch Fog Lamp that's a 9006 halogen bulb that matches the 4100k stock HIDs exactly. Take a look at the Hoen-USA website. I've had mine since December 2006 and they match my one-year-old Phillips 4100K HIDs very well. Folks on the TSX and TL forums like the Hoen fogs too.

Thanks for clearing that up. I didnt think anyone had managed to make a halogen that matched HID yet. I know sylvania, piaa, etc had claimed these in the past and I was convinced enough to spend the $$$, only to be disappointed. Do you have any pics of your fogs on at night?
Duh, I wrote 4100K for some stupid reason. Of course, I meant 4300K.

You were able to remove the bumper, install the fogs and related hardware and re install the bumper in 15 minutes? If its that easy Ill go that route. I was hoping to avoid taking my bumper off..

first of all, there is a very helpful D.I.Y. on here to install these, but you do NOT have to remove your bumper, i've had to do that before and it is not fun in any way, all you have to do is get under your car (i jacked mine up) unclip the plastic undercarriage protectors and slide them out of the way so you can remove the fog lights, unplug the original bulbs, plug the H.I.D. kit in, use double sided tape to stick the ballast somewhere safe and protected, and your done. i had a friend to help, but if i had to replace them for any reason it would probably only take me 10 or 15 minutes... and i'm a 20 year old noob at car stuff!

i'm sorry i cant remember where on ebay i got them from i just remember searching a ton on a-zine and asking members that have h.i.d. kits questions about them and then bought some based on information i found here on a-zine about a certain seller or something? just do your homework for a few nights and you should be set if you want some brilliant fog lights

Cool deal, man. Thanks. I was hoping there was a way around taking the bumper off. Appreciated!

Here's a pic of my TL-S this morning with the Hoen XenonMatch fogs. Not as bright as Cjitty or Bass2220000 and their HIDs, but not bad:
Sorry for the small, lousy phone pic...

nevermind - i found a post -- looks easy! Think I'll try that plus the 6000K LEDs mentioned here.

I nos it's a little off topic but........
ok due to fact this is fogs and a little HIDs related I have a little problem
I'm planning to do some HID convertion to my Fog lights of course it's a TL-S
But this it's the catch I got my older pair of fog lights stolen on a cinema 3 months ago, now that's not the problem I bought them already (200 bucks pretty neat) but my passanger fog light wiring was completely rip off
My question is if this cables run electricity from the same wiring on a topical "Y" conection or do they have parallel conections: "I" "I"
I did conect my two foglights but I ran a bridge between my drivers FL conection to the other one. I didn't realize till I saw the two 20A fuses each for either side so now I'm wondering if I'm stressing my fog lights wiring??
Thanks

so i bought 5000k LEDs in november for $10 through ebay and then 5000k HIDs last week through AZ's vendor, HIDextra.com, with their holiday discount of only $54. i wasnt planning on buying HIDs but it was too good of a deal to pass up.
i finally had time today to install both with the intention of keeping the HIDs and selling the LEDs on the AZ black market. i'm keeping the HIDs but the LEDs are a damn good match if you wanna just pay $10! i didn't take a far picture with the LEDs cause there was still light outside but i'm guessing they won't be as bright as HIDs.
here's my results:
LEDs compared to STOCK fogs
stock:
LED:
pretty good match to stocks for cheap.
HIDs:
