03 TL-S 42k miles

Hi Guys,
What is the reasonable price for me to make an offer for this car? It is in good condition, no tranny problem. It appears the car was in a good care by an adult with all maintenance records from dealer. Your opinions are appreciated.

He is asking for 20K, and it does not have Navi.

That's definitely too much. Maybe 15K so reasonable.

I paid 17.5K for mine non Navi with 35K miles on it from a dealer. 20K is a dealer price and Acura Certified he is charging way too much

I like the car very much, but 20k is too high for me absolutely. 03 TL-S at dealership is like 19K in somewhat the same condition and mileage. If I could get it for 15k, I will be a very happy camper, but I believe the man would think I am out of my mind. the car is all stock. Should I start out with 16k. TL-S is an awesome car.

I believe that was a good deal that you got there. I have been looking and couldn't find that kind of low mileage like yours and they are all around 19K. I will try to work it out with this seller if I could get it for 17.5k even the mileage is higher than yours at the time you bought it. Thank you.

the guy is prolly going by kbb which lists it at 20k in excellent condition for the mileage.

i picked up my CPO 03 TLS w/ nav w/ 44k for 19k so i would really negotiate more if u really want it.

honestly... dont get hung up on that car if he wont budge to a reasonable price. It took me about 3-4 months to finally get my TL... i shopped around at dealers... TOO MUCH... private sells... some scamers. Finaly found some old lady who got the car brand new (99 TL)... never used its power, safe driver, no accidents, unfoutunantly quite a few body dings from other cars opening doors into it.. not too noticable. my car only had 80k for a 99 tl, paid just about $10,000 for it. All i have to say is... I LOVE THIS CAR!

Bought my 99TL Navi with 38,900 on it last Sept. 05 for 11K. Mint condition and you would have to look for any marks on it with your reading glasses on. Older retired couple. It was truly in mint! condition. All records and recalls done + new brakes and rotors by Acura replaced at 30,000. Keep looking! It just takes time to find one. 53k on it now and I havn't spent a dime on it. Needs new tires in about 1000 more miles. Love it.

Thank you very much for all the info guys. I will try to find one that has less than 45k so that I can be covered if something unexpectly happens to it. I do fall in love with the 2gen TL, especially this one, the condition is so great, just a couple minor blemishes, but I will have to walk away if the seller does not want to go lower. So far, he said 18k is the lowest he can go.

Yea, I bought my '02 TL-S 3 years ago this month with 45k, 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty for $20500. By now there is no way that an '03 is worth the same. $16-18k max.

if u want it that bad, get it for 18k o/w keep negotiating.
i bet if u present him w/ a check for 17k he will take it.

also tell him u are finding similar ones priced lower in other states but u want to stay local.
