03 TL maintenace
I have 90k on it . I was thinking about cleaning the throttle , 2 x side intake manifold and one top manifold. I have dealer gaskets with me. Is there any aftermarket cleaner available or do I just use wd 40. Transmission oil and plugs are changed.I will probably replace timing belt soon.below are parts, I think I would require. Please add if I need anything more,
Dealer belts, water pump, tensioners and cam seals.
Any help woudl be greatly appreciated.

One of our vendors here sells the kit with everything the TL needs. At a great price too.
Can't remember his name. Someone else will.
Oh and check out the seafoam cleaning thread in the diy section at the top of the forum board.

for egr port cleaning of manifold- need 3 cans carb cleaner or lesser amount of Deep Creep/ seafoam aerosol and a wire coat hanger
get a TB to manifold and IACV cover gaskets
egr port cleaning more important than `side` intake plenums
a torque wrench is your friend on this job

You guys mean to say that seafoam will clean the dirts inside and I donot need to open up manifold. Except clean EGR

Thats the 3rd gen TL DIY. We have our own though its probably close to the same procedure.
We remove our manifold to clean throttle body, iacv, egr port(s).
2000 rpm method can get cleaner to manifold with throttle plate open but better to do the thorough cleaning once, twice a year.

seafoam will NOT get any of the egr crud cleaned out
thats a manual job with intake manifold removed from engine
it will get the intake runners to a small degree- dont have to remove the side plenums, but it wont hurt to do what you can in there too
2000 rpm method blast years of crud away
seafoam does clean intake valves and piston tops thru vac port method
use thru TB throat to clean air plate, and spray lube throttle return springs
