I heard the the parts are perfect fit, and painting advice, I have the dark colored blue but i might do something wild w/ the 03 carbon fiber hood..

you know what, i tried doing it to mine and for some reason it did not look like it was going to work. everyone here has been helpful and said it would bolt right on but but when i did it, the headlights dont even line up. think we need a radiator support? maybe its just me. dont know but keep me posted.

to tell you the truth if your gonna spend the effort and time to do a 03 conversion why not go all out spend the extra grand or 2 and go even crazy with a IS300 or mercedes conversion.

That, or just trade in your '01- TL and get an 02+. It would probably be cheaper and a much less of a headache.

It would be cheaper. I have 01 TL. I like the front of the 99 - 01 TL better for some reason. Most people would not agree with me, on that. I like the back tail lights of the 02 - 03 TL. I am just gona change the back lights or smoke mine.

Remember, this all comes unpainted.

Front Fenders: 2 @ $218.14
Front Bumper: $227.50
Headlight: 2@ $162.44
Hood: 1 @ $459.48
Plastic liner in front of radiator: 1 @ ~$35
Front Grill: 1 @ $127

$1610 + painting I'd say you're in the $600 range to paint all those pieces.

So $2200 for a 99 to 02 conversion.

I didn't include the fog lights, they're $150 a piece. So now you're at $2500

thanks guys

yea I can't trade in my car mainly b/c it already has too many mileage, i'm coming close to the 150k miles so you know, depreciation is greater. I was thinking of just getting the two fenders and headlights and radiator support and then everything else aftermarket, like a the 02-03 bodykit and then the carbon fiber hood, therefore not having to paint that.... well the price of it its almost like you bought it prepainted... but i'm hearing that it might not fit perfectly? and oh yea the fog lights its true it might be well over 2000 but I can't do much with the car in terms of getting rid of it, so I'm planning to do the painting and bodywork myself, after I get all the info and facts right, I'll hate buying the parts and not be able to use them.

i got my car redone 2 weeks ago. I was quoted $4000 for the front end of '02 and '03. Headlights/bumper/Grill/Hood/Radiator support/radiator and a complete paint job. I believe i'm missing something.. but dont know what.

is that just parts? are you going to install it your self? that doesnt seem to bad. check the salvage yards. there is nothing wrong with those parts and you can save money that way too
