its at the dealership right now gettin a new one put in.. it was covered under the warranty too. also mine was shifting fine but it had a loud ass metal slapping noise once it warmed up, so the dealership decided it was enough of a problem to change it. which made me very happy.. cause im moving to the uk in feb, and i dont want to deal with tryin to get that thing fixed over there. does any one have any experience with the new trannies they are putting in. any problems, do they work better? would me getting a tranny cooler void the warranty?

oh yea they gave me a 06 tl navi. silver with light grey interior. i dont want to give this thing back. so damn luxurious.

The new trannies are new territory. To my knowledge no one has had one fail. As fo rthe cooler, it wont foid the warranty, BUT it wont help save the tranny. (ive had 3 go bad with a cooler)

I got a new transmission (one of the new territory ones) at 47,000 miles. At 53,000 miles now it shifts better than it did at first.. No issues so far.
