02 TL Type S headlights

02 TL Type S headlights

Trying to replace the driver's side low beam bulb...can't get coolant reservoir tank out. Any suggestions on how to get it out!

you can definitely change the bulb without removing the tank.

i think remove all the plastic coverings on the grille and battery. they are held on with those damned pop-clips. i removed mine a long time ago and kept them off so servicing my engine bay is very easy.

but you definitely do not have to remove the tank.

Its quite easy the Reservoir only Sits on a Little Edge on the Battery Plate, Just grab the reservoir and Pull it UP! it should come out easily even with the Battery There... If your having a hard time just squeeze a finger or two into the reservoir to get a grip an pull it up.

The real Space killer for the Low Beam Replacement is the Battery!, If you just get the battery out you would have all the Space you need right away... Heck even on my First time changing the Bulb I undo the Filter Box hahaha now is an Easy Job!
