I don't like how the new TL looks. I am glad that I got the 2000 one.

I'm sorry I have to ask this, but can someone point out how the first picture looks different from the 99-01 TL? Aside from it maybe having fog lights (the pic is fuzzy) and no front plate, it looks exactly the same to me.
I believe the 2nd pic (the drawing) may be the new model, but the first pic looks like the current model to me.

That photo looks photoshopped to me. But if it's not, i wonder if we could swap bumpers to get the fogs......hmmmm

Can't say I like it; the roundness of the front end makes the car look fatter, not leaner. I like the lean look, and especially liked the looks of the Vigor and last gen Legend.
Those pics look too muck like the (insert other car's name here), for which I do not care. I'm sure it will sell well, though, and at least they're not making more clones of the 99-01 TLs so ours will not be further dilluted by more of the same on the road. A Type-S engine swap would be nice, though, and I bet it wouldn't cost that much more than Mugen exhaust, CAI, Comptech headers and hi-flo cats

OK, I'll say it, the Autoweek pic looks like a damn Camry. Not aggressive, nor dignified, just pleasing for the masses.

looks like a current generation TL photoshopped with a CL front, dunno if its just the pic but it doesn't look real at all. if it is real then i'm dissapointed cause it doesn't deserve to have 260-270hp under its hood. grill reminds me of a solara

I saw that in Autoweek last night....i was going to scan & post today.....DOH....
Anyhow, Acura has managed to make a somewhat distinctive (come on, we're still talking about Honda here...conservative!) car, try to blend into every other bubbly, non-distinct car. BUT, if they slap some 17"s with stick rubber and 270 hp locked to a 6-speed with a Viscious limited slip differntial....i'd drive something from 1980's Detroit! Ummm....they should take the opportunity to put the car in a wind tunnel too chop off those mirrors..... make use of the tapering trunk...

Do people really think that the 2002 TL will look like that drawing that was released and posted here? I mean....come on people...cars NEVER look exactly like those drawings so why the big fuss. I remember the 98 Accord drawings and they made the car look awesome...then the actual car came out and I didnt care for it...at first...then it grew on me...same feeling I had when the TL came out.
Also, the full redesign isnt supposed to happen on the TL until the 2003 year model year although I feel it wont change that much. Everyone needs to remain calm and remember that it is only ONE picture of the car...more will follow in a week's time. I like it and I like the fact that Acura is adding more power, memory seats, etc. Give it some time and some more photos.....those 2000 and 2001 owners will be jealous in no time. ;-)

Well, I'd really like to see the back. I hope they didn't put the CL taillights and bulge on the back side. That would be a crime!
I wonder why they don't put a rear spoiler on with the TL-S package?

Looks like a photoshop job to me. I think we really have to wait a week and see what the new TL actually looks like. Someone has to post a pic of the the new TL as soon as possible, or else it seems some of us will lose it, including me.....LOL!
