looks fine in the housing..... if the lower portion were to be lighted up as well.. you'd have light beams shooting up.

you might want to open them up and clean the inside up cuz it looks like you have lots of condensation goin on.

or buy new headlights.

Im living in condensation city myself but i still get good light output. Do I really gotta do the process all over again to stop the condensation problem?

I wanted to identify the problem why lights from the housing only brighten up the top but not the bottom as well before i replace or sand down the cover

moisture in the housing is death to the bulbs, and if it drips down and out the vent/wire hole and onto the ballast...it kills that too

No Moisture inside the lens is the allowable amount

use the Nissan OEM sealant stuff..

http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=5577&rsku=0

and Silica Gel Desiccants

http://www.issm-iseb.org/b2b/pics/Si..._Desiccant.jpg

but.. in my honest opinion....

depending on how well you open them and how well you close them keeps them from getting condensation...

I followed these steps right here:

1st. 1500 grit- 10 minutes wet sanding
2nd. 2000 grit- 20 minutes wet sanding
(after the sanding you wont be able to see through the light at all, so dont worry)
3rd. 3M rubbing compound (rub it in hard, or use a buffer)
4th. Meg's Polish
5th. Meg's carnuba wax

All items can be found at autozone and it comes up to $30 total for all those items above.

I just cleaned my headlights and here is the result:

Took me about a half and hour but it was well worth it. Not a good image because it was about to storm here in Delaware.

But to tell you the truth maybe you should do the above and maybe your headlights will beam brighter.

try a Powerball or similar foam buffing tool that goes on an electric drill
Makes scratches disappear in minutes, saves your arms and hands
wax on wax off!

They make special plastic cleaner and polish- its softer than stuff for paint and does the job right and fast

op- the front of the car looks jacked up, fender bender? the lights might be pointed a bit upward and thats why your not seeing the road clearly, u can always adjust where the light output is gonna be. 10mm screw on the back of the housing towards the middle. make sure u got hid bulbs. the pics u posted are rough and hard to tell, i see white light on the garage door but green light on the lens? what temp are the hid bulbs. 4300k is stock, anything above 6000k-6500k is just reducing light output.
