02-03 TL diffusers installed! *pics*

Yes! Finally! I got around to installing these babys!!!! And they look SWEEEEEET! Now, don't crack on my blue superwhites. I prefer this over orange.

FYI, the 99-01 TL is still planned! I just need to send in one that is in good condition.

For all you 02-03 owners, come and get 'em!

They are for sale here: http://www.ricks2k.com/products/AcuraDiffusers.htm

Please reply if you ordered it, looking forward to more owners with these.

Now on with the pics. Thanks for the help Will & Yenwei!

DAMN! I had no clue it was that much! Unless it drops to around $35 I'll just leave the diffuser out when I clear.

If $72 isn't bad enough they charge $200 for the conversion, which is $128 worth of labor.

I'd buy it. YOu got to think not that many ppl will buy it. It's price/demand.

yeah but when u figure that it doesnt look that much more different than if you didnt even have the diffuser there, is it worth the 72bucks? first one has to leap into doing the cleared headlights though

Well, if it's more about the $30 range, then it'll probably just look like a piece of clear acrylic plastic. This looks exactly like the factory pieces. The price mostly reflects the labor costs. This isn't mass produced.

As for not looking much different from just empty clear, I think there is a big difference. Day and night. I know, since I had the normal cleared out headlights in the past. Night time is more noticeable since you can actually see the diffuser with the light. But to a normal guy that doesn't really care about cars, probably wouldn't notice the difference.

I guess there is only a few of us Acura owners that prefer the finish, original, authentic look. There isn't much I can argue about. It's personal preference.

As for the 99-01 pieces, give us about a month.

Red Hot TL, The rims on the IS300 is 19" Moda R6.

So I assume that since it's not mass produce, whoever is making this is probably doing on his day off on the weekend? Maybe that explains the $71 labor cost..... Anyways, looks good, but too rich for my blood.

I sent in my samples almost 3 weeks ago already. But no feedback as to whether they got the package and begin work or not. I emailed but no reply

Has anyone tried to just buy the diffusers and DIY? Actually how would you remove the headlights in the first place =)
