I just installed my 02-03 Tail Lights on my 99TL. THE CONVERSION WE ALL KNO SO MUCH ABOUT. Anyways, I ordered the kit from TIM at RAY LAKS. I tested out the turn signals with them in and pressed on the brake pedal. All lights come on like they should. THE PROBLEM is that they tail lights dont stay on with the headlights turned on. WHAT HAPPENED???? WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM??? DID I NOT DO SOMETHING?? Need help ASAP. in the middle of this now. THANKS GUYS

Someone, Anyone, PLEASE HELP ME OUT IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL. These tail lights are gona be worthless if i dont have constant Brake Lights lit??? HELLPPPP

I had that problem the second time I put them back on, but it was only one or two of the bulbs that wouldnt light up at all or only when i pressed the brake or what not. Anyways I just moved the wires around and made sure the bulb was pressed in all the way. One of the problem was the bulb wasn't all the way in the socket and one of the bulbs blew from I guess some kind of hard movement. Check those things, hope this helps..

make sure all the lights and conections are snapped tight. Double check that you didnt pull a wire out

Nevermind, I found the problem. What happened was that the 4 brake/tail light bulbs that were included in the conversion kit were all single filament bulbs. What i was supposed to have in the conversion kit was 4 Dual Filament bulbs. The Dual filament bulbs allow the brake light bulbs to stay lit continuously and the other filament inside allows them to become lit when you press on the brake. So i just took a trip over to Advance Auto Parts and bought some dual filament tial light bubls for a 02-03 TL. Poped those in and problem is fixed. Thanks for your suggestions though. Hopefully this can help future TL'ers out.
