Does anyone know the basic differences between 02 and 01 models?

The ones I know are for TL/TLS:
Tilt down reverse mirror
Memory seats
6 CD changer

TLS specific:
260 hp engine
VSA traction control

Any other significant changes?

The lights look very nice in person....there is no comparison
Whether overall styling is an improvement is up to personal taste. To me, it looks alright in pictures, but it looks much better in person.
The rims are different. Type S rims looks kinda nice. TLP rims ... let's just say I'd rather have 2001 rims.
Clear signal lights on the butt....turn out to be kinda out of place and nothing special.

The most important difference to me is the memory seats....which you already know about.
The second best improvement is the key fob.
They are absolutely beautiful and classy.
Of course, there is no functional gain there.

If you can give up a little comfort, Type S is worth every extra penny.

 

I went to the Acura Dealer near my house and they had a whole bunch of TL-S's. It looks nice from the side and the rear... but the front... hmmm.. the front. For some reason, I don't like those big headlights that sort of resemble Toyota Avalon.

One thing I noticed...
Sticker price is $3K more on TL-S than TL.

 

I thought it was $2400.
