'00 Tl With '03 Front End!!! Pics!!!

Finally got this project finished - took about 2 weeks in the Acura body shop.
This is a 2000 TL with a 2003 OEM front end! check it out!!! It fit perfectly!

I'm selling it if anyone is interested - $14,500
25k miles.

This front end upgrade will run you around $2000 in Acura parts plus body shop work - maybe $600-$800. If anyone wants to do the transformation feel free to ask any questions - I'd be happy to help!

give it a little while - it's yahoo, if too many people look at it at once it wont work...try again in a little bit.

Nice. But I'm not quite feeling it. It looks the same as 02/03 TL. I liked the GS conversion better. But nonetheless good work! Anyone with 99-01 that needs a new front end can know that this can be done

You can hook up a GS400 front end to our car? I've never seen that, time to search the forums I guess. Anyone know how much that costs?

I just don't get it. Why?

So your classified ad will say:

2000 TL - Recently had major work, '03 front end with '03 tail lights. Type S wheels but not Type S. Have fun fooling all your friends. Easy resale. $14,500.

WTF? Am I missing the benefits of owning this car? Yes it looks good, but why did you do it? Was the old '00 front end wrecked ('00 with 25K??)?

HEy Jordan, I wanted to know if you can put out the list of parts your bought to fit the 03 front clip on your 00 tl. Please can you list the parts of the prices, thanks dude
If you want you can email it to me em17henry@aol.com
greatly appreciated it!
14,500 is a great price I might have a buyer for you too! email me about more info on your car, and leave some contact info.
thanks

yeah - the '00 front end was wrecked, so I had to replace all the parts anyways, and they are roughly the same price from Acura, so it only made sense to go with the '03 front end...

and for hem17henry the parts were:
front bumper
headlights
fenders
hood
radiator support
hood latch
grill

and that's it - roughly they were about $1800 from Acura.

if you have a buyer that would be cool - just email me at info@01designsystem.com

thanks1
Jordan

Jordan I need to ask you if the fenders 03 are the same as the 00 version? If you didn't wrecked it, would you have to changed the fenders inorder to fit the other parts for the 03?

no the fender of the '00 doesn't fit the '03 conversion because the headlights are different shapes. You have to replace the fneders also.
