nope. it wont void your warranty. if they try to tell you that its the cause, they have to prove that that is the reason that your tranny died

Don't even sweat it with the CAI -- almost all dealerships are cool with CAI. The problem occurs when you have headers and such.
If they say they won't warranty the transmission because of your CAI, here's what to do --
1. Tell them to eat a dick.
2. Tell them how many transmissions fail, even on completely stock cars.
3. Tell them about the extended warranty and now the recall -- it's obviously faulty even in stock form. Honda would never offer an extended warranty or issue a recall because modified cars have problems with the transmission.
4. Tell them to eat a dick again and fix your transmission.
5. If they still don't want to fix it, take it to another dealership. On your way out, tell them eat a dick.
I hate dealerships who tries to weasle their way out of doing transmission work. Cheap bastards.

I dont even understand why dealerships have problems with it......technically they are making money by changing the transmission. honda/acura is paying them for the labor work that they need to pay their workers. Its easy money! it makes no sense to me.
