There is no problem at all re-wiring the fogs (instructions are posted in the FAQ to the left). All it does is change the place where the switch checks to see if the relay should give power to the lights. The switch normally checks to see if the headlights are on before allowing the light relay to engage and turn on the fogs. The re-wire fools the switch because now instead of looking for headlights to be on, it looks for the taillights to be on (which will be on with the parking lights).
I've had mine done for well over 18 months with no ill effects, and so have several others on the board. Perfectly safe to do, and takes no time at all. At our last MA meet I was doing the re-wire on the spot for a few members. I've got it down to about 5 minutes now.....

Can someone tell me how to do; or where to find this mod. I have done this to my 98 maxima se, but I had some "guidance" to know before hand what it was wiring to. On the maxima, you just needed jump off another relay under the hood to give a ground.
Anyone know where specifically I need to add the jumper, or at least where they have tapped in the wiring. Thanks a bunch
