God I hate dealers... I"m not looking forward to car shopping.

Called Ray Laks Acura today about a 99 Firepepper Red Non Navi TL on the lot...
He's like it should be for sale if no plates where on it, I'd have to check (it was in cust. parking thats why i asked)

Anyhow, he starts assaulting me with ?'s, so I'm just like, SO is it for sale?
oh, uhm, hold on.
LoL
N E how, its a 99, non navi, red, 67000 miles, they want $19,900... that sounds kinda high to me ??
whatdya think? I really didnt want such a high mileage car so I think I'll pass

that is high. maybe he's questioning your ability to purchase the car. If you go in it should be different story. check with www.edmund.com and get a price quote for 99.
Sounds like styling silver sled has been driving that car with all that mileage

That's a lot of miles for that year/price. Shop around....you'll find something. I am only 19, but I have had 5 cars already (all of which I bought on my own), and I have found out that shopping around and waiting for that perfect car is the right way to go. Try swindling those dealers too. You'd be suprised what you can get with a little negotiation. Good luck.

In the Bay Area where prices are very high, this car would not sell for more than 15K because of the high mileage. Not a good deal at all.

Man, Ray Laks Acura in Orchard Park? That was a long time ago when I was there last...Check out Acura of Amherst. I didn't buy my car from them, but their service was pretty decent back in 1994-97, but then again, things could easily have changed with a new service manager. DA

the dealer just probaly thinking "ehh, since its firepepper color, slap about 3,000 and um its cleanliness another 2,000",
you know what i say B()77-Sh!7, around 16,500 maybe, just the mileage pulls me away,

I got the same thing and my dealer said he could only give me 19k for it and sell it for 21k. It only has 28k miles on it.

Kelly's Blue book says the car should have been traded in for $16,210 and that was in excellent condition with no exterior accessories. Add a couple grand for your purchase price and it should be in the low 18's not high 19's.
