I think it'd be an OK price ... IF ... shipping / a/c tax / gas tax / admin / license / registration ... INCLUDED in the price. C$36k + 15% tax (7% GST + 8% PST) = C$41,400 ... OUCH. For a car that's over a year old ... maybe I'll pass.

IMHO, if you're almost at $40k ... G35 coupe. I was *this* close to trading in my TL-S for a G35c with the performance package (6-speed, Brembos, etc). It was the depreciation that killed me. Now I wait for R36 GT-R ... (drool) Sorry if this turned off-topic.

hi
I have an 03-TL with only 5700 km on it, I went to the dealer out of curiosity to exchange it with an 04 tl and guess hoe much the dealer offered me for the car? Keep in mind it's a showroom condition they said they will pay 28000 $ CAN. later on i knew that privetly the car worth like 33000-33500 CAN.
So i think 36000 for a CL is a bit much.
GOOD luck

Not a good deal. The foreign exchange rate for USD on 6/30/04 was .7614.

$35000 * .7614 = $26649 USD......NO WAY HOSE! That seems way to high IMHO!

Ooops ... my eyes failed me last night ... C$35000. After tax, C$35k + 15% = C$40,250. It's still better to get a G35c and have better resale value / equity.

C$33k seems reasonable enough.
