Will 2009-11 18” wheels fit on 05-2008 RL?

I read the Hybrid wheels would not fit but curious about the regular 18s. Was looking to run the 18s in the summer and use the 17s during the winter.

Will the 18s be a direct swap with no caliper interference?

Also saw something about how the lug nuts changed with the 18” as well?

Yes, the 2010 wheels will fit the 2006 you will need lug nuts from 2010 as well. I have 2006 wheels in my 2010 for winters, i had to buy 2006 lug nuts (with washers) from rockauto. You can buy 2010 lug nuts from rockauto or amazon or from stealership if you have deep pockets

Thanks. I found a set for $400 off a wrecked RL and just got back from picking them up. Lots of rash but the tires look like they were just mounted. They have a ‘22 date code so that’s reassuring at least. The salvage yard gave me the lugs but said I had to pay $100 if I wanted the wheel locks. I felt that was a rip. So looks like I’ll need to get 4 lugs to complete the set. I also got a newer HVAC unit which I’ve wanted for a while since mine was burned out. Nice to finally have the LED version!

Sounds like a good deal, you could sand the wheels and paint them. The tires alone will cost you more than $1000 if they are brand name.

Got the wheels on this week and figured I would update with some photos! They really look nice. Tires are nothing special..Firestone but plenty of tread left.

What kind of Firestones? They make good tires. If it's Firestone Indy500 then you got a good deal.
