Tirerack have ASA-ST3 18x9.5 wheels for 2-nd gen Rl as good fit. Will this wheels fit Rl with 275/40/18 tires? I know this is wide tire but overall size it's perfect match to factory 245/50/17

I would imagine that a wheel and tire combo that wide will result in rubbing on the fenderwell liner or a suspension part when you make a turn. Doesn't sound like a great idea if you ask me. Besides, why would you want to add that much more rotational mass for the car to move?
