TL coil overs on RL !

Curious what the difference is in the TL-SH AWD suspension vs the RL ?

The tl and rl are the same weight so valving and spring rates would be the same !

are mounting points the same?
that would be your biggest hurdle.

if it doesnt mount up; you cant use them

Report back when you find out.

One member here claimed to have "made it work", but he provided no evidence of what work was done. He also didn't seem to care how safe his car was as long as it looked good, and he dumped it within a year. I've got my money on "no" because I don't think we would have gone a decade without someone looking into it.

the TL uses a "fork"

and the RL uses a round press type mount

Tokicos?

I don't see any parts on those diagrams that look the same except for maybe a washer or two.

If i got a killer deal on a set of TL coil overs i would just weld the bottom mount onto the lower part of the coil over sleeve.

Thanks guys was just curious

Right such a hack idea !!! The TEIN SA are sleeve height adjustable.

You remove the lower sleeve cut off the fork style mount then weld on the round rubber bushing style sleeve . Paint it and re install it onto the coil over. The weights of TL and RL are the same. Im not worried about the valving.

TEIN comfort sports are nice but im looking at $2400 and a 3 month wait right now. I can get tein SA over night for $800.

Anyways it wont work as the TL uses Spring over shock for the rear and the RL uses Spring on control arm and independant shock.
