Which tire should I get for a comfortable ride?

My stock tires just wore out and I'm planning to stop by Costco tomorrow.

I was just going to ask them to replace it with the same as stock, but was wondering if there were better options out there.

Edit : I currently drive a 2005 Acura RL

A-Spec wheels are 18". The correct tire size for A-Spec wheels is 245-45-18. Are you sure you have the "stock" tires on A-Spec wheels? The standard tire for the A-Spec wheels was the Michelin Pilot Sport summer tire. The Pilot Sport A/S is a good option in that size, as well as the Pirelli PZero Nero M+S.

Comfortable ride can mean many things... Are you looking for a all season tire or a summer tire? Performance or touring?

If you are looking for All-season tourings, I've heard the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity's are very quiet, great on dry and wet, no issues with tramlining nor hydroplaning.

As for Ultra High Performance All-seasons, there are lots of good choices. Pilot Sport A/S are excellent, but you pay a premium. I've heard good things about Yokohama ADVAN S4 and Bridgestone RE960's. Personally, I've owned Pirelli Pzero Nero M/S for the last two sets. Great tires, but they don't last very long (or atleast they don't the way I drive).

In my experience, many tires are special order at Costco, but they always seem to be able to get them if it is a brand they carry. They seem to be far more picky about, that is not OEM specified size, I cannot sell it to you...
