Lightbulb suspension and rims

I am looking to lower my RL but dont want to lose the ride quality. I am willing to pay the extra money for the bes tsuspension if the ride quality will remain as close to the same as possivbe. So what suspension would you recomend and is it a noticeable difference in the ride quality.
Also I am looking in to getting some rims. I live in new england so road quality is pretty poor. Would you recomend 19's or 20's . Now I'm not an idiot when it comes to pot holes, my last car was an integra.

Thanks for your advice

If you are willing to pay extra money, consider the Tein adjustable coil overs with EDCF so you can adjust the damper softness from the car. You can also raise and lower the car to your taste.

Start with this thread, and see what has been done...it also has photos of the Tein setup less the EDCF.

Nothing can beat the A-Spec suspension for value. Factory parts, for about $600 or less.

Also, depending on what you are looking for, I think 18's give you far choice than either 19's or 20's. Once you start going bigger, the wheels get very heavy very quickly.

Read this for background, and use the search function about fitment. RL has front caliper fitment issue. The 4 piston caliper is like a big brake kit in some ways and limits your choices of wheels due to clearances

Try aspic before youmbuy and install it. I tried it and felt it was very stiff. It's all subjective though. Handling was good, but you get a much firmer ride. Try it if you can find someone nearby who has it. Good luck.

If you like it, it's a great upgrade for the money,
