Summer tires

Who's got them for the RL?

I wanna get them with A-Spec wheels in a couple a months and so far I'm pretty intrigued by the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires.. They got some pretty impressive ratings on Tire Rack and I freakin love the tread pattern.. ..I guess with such good ratings I bet they'll be fine, but still, I'd love to get some thoughts...

Who's got these tires.. ... or who's got summer tires, period. I've never had strictly summer tires, but for the RL I think it'd be nice to have and just throw winters on the 17s

I am on my second set of these tires. That should say it all, but if it doesn't, I like them because they are smooth riding, pretty quiet (for High Performance rubber) and very sticky in both wet and dry weather. I had an alignment issue with my first set which caused me to replace them at around 25K miles. I probably could have squeezed another 5K out of them.

Awesome. Just what I wanted to hear! Nice clean ride btw!

Also, I might as well ask you this... What tire for winter? I think there's only a couple to choose from anyway..

Thanks.

Fortunately for me, I have a beater (1999 Honda CRV) that I drive during the winter months. My RL has not seen winter yet so no need for winter tires. However, when I had my 2005 TL I used the Bridgestone Blizzaks which did a good job.

you have a very limited choice when it comes to winter tires for the oem 17's..but i'd go with the pirelli snowsport for the oem 17's but i got a set of a-spec for a good price with michelin pilot sport tires and i sued it for the summer which i liked, except for the fact those mich's wear out quickly, so now i am using the a-specs for dedicated winters with a set of dunlop wintersport m3's <3. as for the summer, i am going with new rims in either 18's or 19's and going to look for a set of yokohama s4's for summer.
