Stroke sensor or ride height sensor cause clunking?

The rear of my car doesn't seem to handle bumps very well. Just replaced the rear struts, sway bar bushings, sway bar end links, and strut mounts. After replacing those items, it was nice for a little while but the rear is starting to clunk over small bumps again.

I noticed that the stroke sensor or ride height sensor (whatever it is) came off of the left rear strut. It won't stay on. The ball end popped out of the cup end. Could this be the cause of the rear clunking?

AFS light is flashing and I've read that it's the same part that causes it to flash.

I'll get pictures of it if needed. Thanks.

I can't remember if you tightnened your handbrake cable or not? If you didn't, I'd try that as well.

Yes I did and it did get rid of the metal clanking i was having. Thanks for that.
This sound is more like a thumping noise from both sides of the rear. The rear doesn't seem to handle bumps on roads as well as the front.
