A-Spec Suspension

I just had the A-Spec suspension installed on my CSM RL (owned since 6/05). The handling is alot better with less body roll. I still have my 17s on; but my next step is to get the 18s or at least better tires for the 17s.

How much did you pay for the suspension and installation?

The suspension was $632.00 including shipping and the install was around $550, including an alignment.

Congrats. If you happen to want pilot sports a/s for the 17's, I am selling mine as I am upgrading to the 18".

But, please post pics... if you need anybody to host them PM me and I will host them for you.

"or at least better tires for the 17s"

I am a very recent convert to the Pilot Sport A/S tire having just changed this week. I have kept the stock 17" wheels. The change in tire makes a considerable difference (better) that is noticeable immediately. Smoother, quieter ride and the cornering improvement is great. Only regret is that I didn't do this earlier. Thanks to all those here that contributed their similar experiences.

Since you have gone to the a-spec suspension, you HAVE to make the tire change. If you go the the 18" then that opens up a broader selection of tires but you won't go wrong if you stay with the 17s and go with the Pilot Sport A/S, imho. Tiretrack advised me that this tire is the state of the art in terms of an A/S tire and I can't argue with that.
