ride quality when swapping out the A-Spec springs
So I've done the search and feel that the question hasn't really been answered.
Those of you that have had A-Spec suspension and chose to go with aftermarket lowering springs for a more aggressive stance, how has this changed your ride quality? I really appreciate the comfort and luxurious feel that I have with the A-Spec but if the ride quality doesn't change by much, I'd love to go a bit lower, fill up that wheel gap slightly.
Thanks in advance for your insight.

Everyone has a different opinion, but for myself I wanted to keep my RL as OEM as possible. The Aspec suspension is great, makes the car feel like it is much lighter, is great in the curves and gives you that sporty feel that is missing on the stock RL. I can't speak for the other after marker suspensions, since I have never tried them out, but for myself I am very satisfied with my car.

I also chose to stick with A-Spec when I had my RL as it was effectively OEM. I was completely satisfied with the suspension tuning, especially with sticky rubber. I'm sure others with H & R springs, etc. will chime in with their experience.

I should note that I'm considering the RSR springs which lower the vehicle 20-25mm and increase the spring rates to F: 7.84 / R: 8.98. I'm not sure what the A-Spec spring rates are but staying under 9kg/mm for a 4000lb car should still keep things supple. It's the slight drop that I'm more interested in.

A-SPEC does go a bit lower, a bit less than 1". Of course you can go lower than that, but for me a drop wasn't a requirement. The handling is much improved, and well worth the investment in my opinion.

i had the A-spec suspension for 33,500 miles and developed lower back problems. Unless your 18 years old, use the A-spec lowering springs with the stock dampeners. I changed them to this today and this is the ticket. If your looking for handling....buy a Porsche.
