Can't say enough good things about my Continental ExtremeContact DW rubber if you want dedicated summers.

I got both DW and DWS and they are excellent tires and excellent value.

Try TOYO tires. They are good & less expensive.

If you're not a performance nut and want good overall performance with long life, I'd get the Michelin Primacy MXV4s.

+1. I had these on my previous car (Saab 9-5) and they were so much quieter than the OEM tires. I can't imagine that the same qualities wouldn't hold true for the RL. They were also still going very strong at 42,000 miles vs. the OEMs which were shot at 27,000 miles.

I put Toyos on Legend #1 once. They lasted 20 months (maybe) before one exploded at 70 mph and ALL of the tread was torn off. When I went to replace it, I asked to rotate the other side to put the better tread with the new one. Once they took off the other Toyo, they saw exposed wires coming through a split in the rubber. Another highway trip and that one would have exploded also. Needless to say, I put on two new tires 20 months after putting on brand new Toyos. I won't make that mistake again. If you want cheap with good quality, Yokohama makes tires that hold up very well. The only bad part is they are not quiet, but you get what you pay for unless they are Toyos.

I'm done ranting now.

I have on luck on this Conti DWS. Gone through 2 sets within 5 months....Now have to exchanged the second set with Michelin...I have the Lexus GS430 though....Maybe it's my car but it's too much road noise and have been wandering all over the road...both my mechanic and Lexus said it's the tires...that's why I am exchanging them with Michelin....

"on luck" aside, that has been my experience with Conti's though not the new generation DWS...Never could get the Conti's right. Put on Pirelli's and all was good with the world on my now defunct 95 Legend.
