rear tire pressure

Hello ,
This will sound stupid but..
Why do we have 34psi in rear and 36psi in front?

I believe it has to do with the disproportionate weight of the RL, but honestly, that is just a guess.

Also, I thought it was 34/32 or 32/30. My car does not say 36/34, although I keep my tires at 36 all around.

Yea me as well , im usually around 38psi , i just got my tires rotated at park ave maywood and they rezset my tires to 36/34 psi ..

Idk how much effect this has on our cars..

Zero to none I believe. The inflation will have more affect on MPGs and tread wear than anything else.
