Darkness, we have a vendor here who is an Acura dealer in Northern CA. I personally got mine from Lee at oemacuraparts.com and other people buy it from acuraoemparts.com. Good luck!

Yes, see if you can use the other dealers to get free shipping from one of them. Good luck!

My local dealer has it for $625, someone said he can get me 20% OFF, so that'd be $500!

Thanks to tnobori1 I just got my Aspec Suspension kit installed today. Just out of curiosity, did you get an alignment right after or did you give it a few days for the spring to settle? Any feedback would be appreciated.

how do you like hte aspec? you running on 18s or OEM 17s?

did you do the rear sway bar? do that for sure - cheap and for the money, it's worth it.

I'm sorry it took me a few days to get back to you! I just now saw this post! I had the alignment done the same day. I'm sure it's too late for this to be useful , but I don't think it'd be bad if you waited a few days.

I plan on purchasing the Aspec suspension for my 05 very soon. I recall seeing it for around $480 (so I thought) many months ago. Now I can only find one listing and it's $590 plus $55 S/H. Anybody know where I can find it cheaper? I plan on installing it myself if that makes any difference.

Nice set up. You can totally tell the diference. the wheels look tucked in, yet not to much.

How much do dealers charge for install?

It seems like about 25-30% of people regret the firmer ride, that puts me on the fence a bit.

I have someone who will sell me the two aspec front strut assemblies (dampner/spring), two rear aspec shocks and two rear aspec springs...all for $450.00. They claim it to be new (just seperate, not as a "kit"). Two questions - this is everything that would be sold by a Dealer as a KIT, right? Second, what am I missing...this seems too good to be true?

Seems reasonable. I paid $600 with free shipping from a dealer. If someone bought it and regretted it, they may be unloading for a bit of a loss.

So price seems to be good, what about having all the items. The aspec suspension kit (new from Dealer) would include everything i'm buying individually, right?

I had my aspec in for a couple months on 17" OEM's & notice the firmness but I still like it. The only thing is when I go up & down a driveway more than 5mph, I hear a pop in the front.. Is that normal, a defect in the product, or a bad install job?

I just purchased the Aspec suspension components for my 2005. Got a deal I couldn't pass up and should have everything by Oct 7! I plan on doing the installation myself and have reveiwed much of the material (about it) on this site. Is there anything else I should know?

BTW, I am on the OEM 17" rims/tires and plan on staying that way for now.

Kit arrived yesterday and I'm almost done with the installation. However, I can't seem to release the rear suspension arms to free the springs. Everything else went together as planned, anyone have some easy advice for me? I assume there's a balljoint removal tool I can get, right?

When my guy did the install, he didn't use a ball joint remover for the rear. He did however remove the sway bar end links and the other side of the lower arm that holds the spring up.

Yes BE CAREFUL when removing the rear springs. My guy also used a spring compressor, so the spring didn't shoot out. Actually he tied a thick rope so the spring didn't shoot. haha

XDARKNE55X - awesome suggestion and it worked perfectly. I'm curious to know why the Acura instructions tell you to seperate the suspension at the balljoint when your method was SO easy.

Thanks for your help. I'm completely done and very satisfied with the results.

I agree, a little firm when first installed but "just right" now.
