HELP w finding studs to fit my new wheels PLEASE!!

Guys im posting a thread because I need help and ill pay you for your time.. as some of you know I bought the 19" TL OEM rims for my RL and in order to clear them on the front axle I need spacers to clear the caliper. I purchased 15mm spacers from MotorsportTech.com I really only wanted 10mm but they didnt have 10mm option so I bought only what was offered.. But I need extended studs now to fit my RL and I cannot find them or even really know what I am looking for.. Do I need lug nuts too? I talked to JDM on here and said id be really cutting it close with using the OEM studs while using 15mm spacers but I wouldn't feel comfortable running that setup if I even could.

I contacted Lenny from MotorSportTech saying is it too late to order these 15mm spacers and asked if he could make me 10mm adapters but last I spoke with him he said by friday they should ship so I think that ship has sailed.

Can someone help me find studs that aren't ridiculously crazy in price so I can clear the front caliper? I will PayPal you for your time no joke

Thanks guys

Mods if you can keep this thread in the general forum of the RL section and dont move it to the wheel section for a few days nothing really gets acknowledged in the sub sections

I'm just curious as to what Lenny from MotorsportTech said about the 10MM spacer, are they able to provide you with one? I'm wondering if he can cut you a deal if they take back the 15MM spacer so long as you don't open it.. You'll probably end up loosing some money, but I'd image it would be less than getting extended studs.

he hasnt gotten back to me yet we spoke almost a week ago when he wanted to confirm my car and wheel spec, he worked with JDM on here so he had an idea what to do already..
I didnt see on the website custom sizing I would have just done 10mm from the start.
I spoke with a member on here and said I could but not the safest bet I could buy TL AWD lug nuts and place them on the OEM studs with a washer? Couldnt I just do that if I buy 10mm spacers? how would that not work 10mm studs are just over 1/3 inch

So it's worth mentioning that I suck at wheels, hence why I stuck to OEM on mine... But I did a little digging, and here are the specs I found from from JDMCRX's studs: M14x1.5 x 55mm studs. I'd imaging you would tack on 5mm since he used 10mm spacers on the diamond cut wheels. I'm having trouble finding someone with similar specs... I did some digging, and these studs are schooling me bad but I did find something that might work? Take a look at these:

and i kinda disagree.
if you click on "new post" up at the top of the page, you'll see ALL the new post for the day, or since your last visit.
that's how I am able to post EVERY where

the only reason why you're not getting that much views or answers, is cuz no one likes to fuck with wheels and spacers and extended lug nuts in the RL section. every one a grandpa! lol
they just want to get in and go. not too much modding going on.

I even stayed away from your spacer thread, cuz there's not much I could contribute

eibach 12mm spacers come with the extended lugs

what makes it difficult is price..
no matter what, you're going to be spending out the ass... because you had already ordered a set. so,you're going to be purchasing products until you find the right fit. that makes it hard.
and I must be getting older cuz, i dont wanna fuck with my cars any more i just want the vehicle to work!

If I can't find these extended studs for 10mm spacers I might just use the oem studs and add a spacer onto the stud and tighten it good

10mm spacer is what .19 so not even a 1/4 inch

does anyone know why it's worth buying TL awd lugs when mounting to oem studs? Tighter fit maybe?

I have AWD TL lugs saved on my phone maybe go for those I don't know how .19 less than a 1/4 inch could make an issue keeping oem studs

how many mm do I need the TL rims have a 50 or 56mm offset maybe I can have custom spacers made around 8 or 9mm to maximize clearance and stud length??

The lug nuts are probably needed to seat properly against the wheel. I'm not sure if the AWD TL lug nuts are different from the RL ones, but that's probably why they are needed.

I guess I'm really the only one who mods the RL still? Lol

when I had my Buick couple years back I heavily modded it.. it's what keeps me from buying new cars lol I wanted to buy the hybrid VW Tourheg (390hp 430tq) but I already have most of my new RL car parts

Im gonna buy those TL lug nuts and return my 15mm adapters and buy 10mm spacers maybe 9mm if anyone can confirm it'll clear calipers and I'll make a call using my OEM studs when I mount the new wheels if I put a washer on the oem stud and tighten it up I'll be good

Well i I bought the TL lug nuts for $40 bucks for 10X Apparently they are the ones shared on the ridge line
hoping I can just mount 10mm spacers with these lugs and tighten them and move on cause I don't know shit about to wheels and lugs lol

You keep mentioning how you can't wait for warm weather. Considering there is still snow on the ground you still have plenty of time. It doesn't even feel like Spring is coming anymore lol. Unforunately, I don't think masturbation will help with this type of pent-up aggression .

I decided not to buy them because I don't want to go through the hassle of spacers when I plan on buying a new set of wheels next year anyway. I'm going to pay the price for a company to make the exact specs Im looking for. Buying wheels that fit our car is difficult, let alone having my front and rear big brake kit.

Typical rule of thumb with spacers is you can add a 5mm spacer on stock lug studs and be ok, but more than that and you need to get longer studs. Trying to hold your wheels on with cornering forces and potholes and other things that stress them means it's not safe to go beyond 5mm spacing as there just isn't enough thread available to safely torque the lugs.

When I ran 19" wheels on my Audi, I had to space them. I was sent to www.blackforestindustries.com to order longer wheel bolts for my car. Price was decent, quality was great, safety was maintained. Check them out - since they sold extended wheel bolts for that car, they probably do extended studs for other cars too.

Looks like it's already painted for my car - I'll PM my address if you'll just get that shipped out ASAFP lol

Very jealous - was this a purchase from a vendor or an individual? I'm thinking individual due to paint but...

Paid 940 shipped .. 240 was the total shipping because of the outrageous and weird box it came in I didn't buy the side skirts Ive read u don't need them but if you guys don't know me by now.. u know I love to mod so if I need it I'll buy it

i got it from Bernardi Acura in Boston.. took 10 days I bought it Tuesday of last week and it delivered yesterday they are all already painted just figure out which part # is yours and good to go

i already dropped the rims n tires along with my trunk spoiler and Aspec kit so stay tuned

im only waiting on my 15mm adapters and I'm good to go

BTW FELLAS - I bought studs from Japan I'll detail more info later when I get home but I found what I think are the correct studs which took an insane amount of research to find these .. between making an amazon Japan account, exchanging emails with Japanese ships using google translate etc I found a site which I trust I will link it here check em out

http://item.rakuten.co.jp/cps-mm/n33318/
check out his shop we've exchanged emails and so far so good they will send me the Paypal invoice and ship to me

they told me these do not fit the KB1 Legend but if you go on JDMs thread on here you'll see a. Picture of studs and spacers side by side and if you analyze the picture you'll see 10mm m14x1.5 so I assume these are them
