Aren't the 2nd gen RLers stuck with PAX?

PAX was an option.

Moving this to the 2nd gen RL forum for better advice.

OH, I see, he has a 2nd gen. I thought you were telling him to go here because there was more volume of users. My fault.

Tons of comments here in the other threads, look around.

Kumho has some new cheap tire ($500 for four?)

I have the Serenity on mine, seems good so far. No complaints.

I have the Continental DWS tires on my 2005 RL and they have been great. They have good reviews on Tire Rack and are $168 each. I have to buy a couple more now since my wife ran over a curb this week.

If I have to pick one from your choices, I say the Bridgestones. Pirelli's have short threadlife.
I don't like either one though.

After milking my MXM-whatevers with a nail in the sidewall forever... I finally pulled the trigger on Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I'm in SoCal so these are fine for rain and I don't take the RL to the snow or do a lot of off-roading, so I don't need the full on A/S. The bonus is, they make my car like totally faster.

...or so I hear: get'em tomorrow.

Good choice! Best performance tire on the market hands down. I had the Pilot Sport PS2's on my Prelude and they were amazing. You probably won't get the full benefit of them with the softer suspension on an RL but that's okay. You'll still love them.
