H&R sport springs on stock 17"s
Just pulled the trigger on my first RL. Have owned several Tls and used HnR springs on all. Please does anyone have photos of RL with HnR sport springs on stock 17" wheels. Thank you...

Please a full side photo if you have one. Your car looks great! What about the fogs? Can you also get them in bright white and where? Thanks

That's not my car. That is Blazing GT's which is sold now. A lot of his photos were lost, but that is the only setup he ran with 17" wheels.
As for the fog lights, the bulbs are H11. In order to get a pure white light, you will need HID bulbs requiring a ballast. For your cheapest reliable option, I would go with this. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=3955

Hn R sports on stock 17"s
Please does anyone have photos of a 2005 thru 2008 RL with HnR sport springs and stock 17"s. Would like to know how that would look.

You have already asked this question. I merged the threads to remind you. I'm moving it to the wheels and suspension forum as well.

For folks with H&R springs & stock rims-does your car scrape over speed bumps?
I am thinking about installing H&R springs. To me the 1.5'' drop for the car is too much for a DD-IHMO.
If anyone has H&R springs on their car around DC area-I would like to see the car.
Thanks!

If you spec your tires correctly, all rims will give the same ride height. My guess is you get some scraping, but not a lot if your struts aren't old.
Blazing's car that I posted above hit an exposed man hole cover in a NYC construction site and cracked his oil pan. It certainly isn't a common concern because the hole was raised above reasonable height, but it probably wouldn't have happened on stock springs. It would have hit a Corvette though.

Here's my ride. I clipped the fronts one ring to lower it more in the front and make it even with the rear. I have 20" Niche Targas sitting on my balcony waiting to installed as soon as the USPS man arrives with my new TPMS sensors.
