Hi guys! I have a 2005 RL and am looking to put on 4th gen TL wheels as shown below:
I did a test fit on the car and they interfere with the calipers by just a few mm. I was looking at adding a 3mm-5mm spacer but am a little unsure what I need to do with the hub. The TL wheels have the same 64.1mm hub as the stock wheels do. If I use plain spacers without a built in hub, would the original hub still interface with the wheel since it is such a thin spacer? Does anyone know how much the hub extends past the rotor? Would I need to extend the threaded studs since it is just a few mm less of engagement? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
you could try shaving down the caliper in order to clear, depending on how much is a "few mm".
I would go this route instead of adding a spacer without the built in studs...
and yes, if you are using the spacer without the built in studs, you would need to buy longer studs.

I thought about doing that but it just didn't feel right to me. It is basically interfering with the raised letters that say Acura on the calipers. I was hoping I could find a simple spacer solution but I am not sure if that is going to be feasible or not at this point.
