All four tires showing wear on the edges: do i need to align? just bought the MMXM4 over 2 months on them. I use a liquid tire dressing would this have anything to do with the wear on the edges.

Dressing on the tires only has to do with appearance. If it was detrimental to the safety of a tire, they wouldn't sell it to the public. However, if you have excessive tire wear after only two months, I would suspect that you need a 4 wheel alignment. Either there is to much toe in/toe out, or two much camber dialed in forcing the edges to rub.

Be sure you have the proper air pressure in the tires, to low of a pressure will cause the tires to wear on the outside and not on the inside.

Assuming you aligned the car on installation? This is mandatory with new tires, and even after say, 15000 miles...
