2006 RL Wheel Help Needed!

I'm trying to find 18" chrome (or chrome look) wheels that are not too expensive, and have been verified to fit the RL. My '06 RL is a black tech pkg car that I'm depaxing. I already have the new 18" tires, and tpms sensors. I had to return a set of DUB rims that many websites show fit, but wouldn't clear the RL's calipers. PLease help.

Quickest place to look is the Tire Rack.

You can also shop deals at dealers for A-Spec wheels

Chas2, Thanks for the quick response. Yeah, I got my Michelins from Tire Rack. They show the chrome Bremmer Kraft as a correct fitment. I'm trying to dig through the various opinions of the quality of these. I probably should've bit the bullet and gone 19", but I live in Tahoe with lots of snow, and very bad roads.

I live in Cleveland and have my 19's on during the summer and they are fine, horrible roads here too. 17" OEM with snow's during the winter.

Look at it this way... there are more choices in type and manufacturers in the 245/45-18, and they cost a lot less than the comparably sized 19" tires.

19's can also get pretty heavy, which can be an issue. The car will feel much less nimble with heavier wheels and tires. I know, because (broken record on), I deleted 92 lbs of unsprung weight when I ditched the PAX tires and wheels, and it is like driving a different car, noticeably lighter on its feet, and much easier to accelerate from a stop.

If you get the right wheels, you will be able to weigh the same or less than your stock 17's.

We have 18" Liquid Silver Legend wheels that look like polished aluminum to a degree. Call me I may have some open box specials on this wheel. Guaranteed to fit and they are hubcentric, specifically made for the RL.

I'm looking at an 18 x 8 rim that is built with a BMW type offset, 35mm. I'll be running 245/45R18 tires. I like the rims. Is this offset pushing it?

Do you have any open box specials on the 19s?

You have pm, and we offer a 38mm offset, this clears the caliper and gives the wheel a wide track without rubbing on the fender.
